Equity Futures Status as of December 23, 2024
Yesterday, December 22, 2024, marked the start of a shortened trading week, as the market will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Initially, the market appeared to show a false bullish trend. However, after the New York market opened, it dropped compared to Sunday’s 6:00 PM EST opening. Despite this, the market ended the day with a 173-point gain, though it did not reach Friday’s high.
Today’s trades included both short and long positions. The algorithm shorted the market in the morning and later switched to long positions. With a $100K portfolio, the return was 6.5% in just one day. Please see the attached screenshot of the trade opened at 9:30 AM EST.
