Today, equity index futures experienced a decline and traded with high volatility. The session began with bullish candles, but by the end of the day, the market had shifted into bearish territory. Notably, NQ/MNQ traded below the 21,000 level.
The algorithm remained in short mode and generated a strong return between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM EST, as the index dropped by 1% from the prior close and traded 1 standard deviation below the 5-day moving average.
